Sony’s PS5 Officially launched it’s new look yesterday June 11th, on Playstation’s release. This comes after a delay, to let other voices be heard during this time. This has to be the nicest console we’ve seen so far and wait t’ill you see more!
After a week-long delay, the PlayStation 5 reveal event finally happened and what an event it was! Not only did we learn about so many awesome games that are coming to PS5, we FINALLY got our first look at the PS5 design and it’s just gorgeous. So let’s get into everything we learned from Sony’s event right now!
We already mentioned that the design of the PS5 is gorgeous, but did we mention that it’s beautiful. Seriously, the two tone white and black color scheme just matches with the Dualsense controller so nicely and we love the curvy, futuristic design. It just screams 2020. But while we were beyond excited to finally see what the console looked like, it was the games that were at the forefront of the presentation. There’s just so much to get excited about, we don’t know where to start! How about Spider-Man Miles Morales or Horizon Forbidden West or Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart? Even games like Gran Turismo 7, Demon’s Souls and Godfall looked great. All we know is that the future of gaming looks to be in good shape after Sony’s event.

Is the design what you thought it’d be!?
No one that it would be this bit the design is good
No I thought it look like the ps4 just bigger and a different color
Whelp ps5 is gonna win the console wars
I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise It looks like a F****** FOLDER
No
I wasn’t planning one getting it, but the games that were shown changed my mind
@Jaxinyaboi no I’m not necessarily saying the power doesn’t matter.. I’m just saying the games matter a hell of a lot more.. The ps5 is built differently and has less Tflops, yes, but it also allows for power shift from cpu to gpu when needed.. Microsoft just says it’s “12 Tflops” solely to say it’s the most powerful whether or not they have the games to support the system..
@Maddyson Her the design really doesn’t matter 1 iota
@shaun viveiros lmao I’ve always thought the same about Microsoft “constantly telling people what they wanna hear”. They’re not being consumer-friendly, they’re just sucking up to people after they lost the last generation. It’s blatantly obvious and pathetic
@Joshington I know, seriously.! All they can say is “12 Tflops” “12 Tflops” and then show us a weak ass line up of games.. It almost feels, idk, patronizing.? Maybe that’s not the right word, but u know what I mean.. Don’t get me wrong, I intend on buying both.. Always have bought both, but I still feel like they just rather flex their muscle than give us games
@shaun viveiros it’s not even the 12 tflops. It’s the whole concept of Game Pass that they keep pushing, because they have no good/current exclusive games to promote except from third party lmao. They’re being “consumer friendly” with it because they have nothing new to offer to consumers except Gears and Halo over and over again. Even the new rumored Fable is just revisiting the past again, for as much as I’m excited for it
All of us was so hyped and completely forgot about that they didn’t confirm the backward compatibility
@HearthJunkie playstation now is dogshit and you know it lmao
I hope they stop that additional download crap. I wanted to buy cod modern warfare but you gotta download an additional 60gb to play.
@Russell Hayden not sony’s fault?
@Zack that’s true.
They just have to make an emulator for their own system. Shouldnt be too hard.
Me:oh maybe Xbox series x.
Sony:ok let’s see.
Me after:just wow.

they did the thing, way to go playstation!
I have a gaming pc this surprise me I kinda want one now
Yeah I have always done both. Sony for exclusives and pc for Xbox games and pc exclusives.
I’d probably avoid getting it. Its software is from that of a PC.
Cameron Chang and you heard that where?
@Cameron Chang Yeah but your PC is about to become the lowest end gaming platform. These new consoles will out perform all of the existing PC hardware setups.
@I need a 4×4 He is talking about the consoles running on X86 architecture just like PC’s do. The AMD chip in both PS5 and XBox Series X are X86 architecture just like PC’s CPU’s.

@Nintorstendo Who cares about the shape, it sits on a desk or shelf. It all come down to how it performs and time will tell which of the 2 has the best performance and games library. It’s all about what’s under the hood – not how pretty the thing looks.
