WE’RE JASON AND NIKKI WYNN. A couple of modern-day documentarians, perpetual sightseers, and seekers of tall stories.

We have been pursuing our curiosity all over the world on wheels and keels since 2011. Why? Because curiosity is the key to unlocking life. It pushes us outdoors our comfort zone, softens our hypotheses, and helps us embrace the terrific unidentified. The more we let our curiosity lead the way, the more we find about ourselves and the world around us.

Our home is in addition our transportation and we spend weeks away from civilization and on occasion land. Self-reliance and living a sustainable life style are a must. It is all about managing our assets and we are always hunting for new and better ways to do so.

We have lived off the grid for over 1 decade now in everything from a Van to RV to a Sailboat. And over time we have learned a lot about renewable energy, creating safe drinking water, and managing our waste.

Our journey is ever-evolving but the mission remains the same: #CultivateCuriosity

  1. Exciting times ahead! While all your videos are great, we really enjoyed [the beauty and exoticness] the ones in the from French Polynesia westward. The Phillipines and the area should be really interesting and beautiful.

  2. You’re definitely not alone – it’s been two and a half years since I have seen family as well. For the last two years I have been thinking “maybe next year”. One can always hope.

Feeling you, we’re in limbo too. Was supposed to get out new boat in May 2022. Sold everything moved in with family for a few weeks which is now blowing out to 9months. Hate the limbo but maybe we will appreciate it more when the time arrives right? Enjoy your travels around NZ x
