Times I should have realized I was autistic

▶ ToonBoom Harmony Premium – to animate
▶ Adobe Photoshop CC – background art
▶ Wacom DTK2260 – screen tablet for drawing/animating (but I suggest basic cheap no-screen tablets from Wacom for newbies)
▶ Adobe Premiere CC – to edit and compile

– I am regretful, I am not available to do lines for video clips anymore; I have gotten truly occupied 🙁

– I am NOT seeking out animation or video clip help! I appreciate your kindliness. I am not in a place where I need to employ folks, not even for free.

  1. hi I’m sorry I didn’t do a good job explaining what I meant when it came to self diagnosis – it is valid and I self-dx’d myself for the longest time because my past therapist (who was not educated on autism at all) refused to have me evaluated because she said I “didn’t look autistic.” I saw a new psych who actually studies autism, and I was properly diagnosed. The point I meant to make was: self diagnosing and faking a disability are two different things that I feel become conflated by others who aren’t in our position – because they have access to diagnostics and doctors who listen. And I only “agree” that self diagnosing is wrong if someone is knowingly faking a disability. I used the fake service dog scenario to illustrate this because this is a common issue my friend in the video experiences way too often: people claiming to need a service dog, so they buy a fake vest online, put it on their untrained pet, and that untrained pet will attack and pick fights with my friend’s service dog, sometimes resulting in her and her actual service dog getting denied service places. This is the behavior I’m against— KNOWINGLY faking a disability; not self diagnosing. Thanks!

@H0PL3$$ yea but people who have PTSD can be anything traumatic not just soldiers, just wanna make that clear since my trauma isn’t the two ‘typical’ PTSD inducing things I always get annoyed at this but I 100% agree. But you can have a service dog for psychiatric alert which is different to emotional support, so it doesn’t have to just be for PTSD since there’s SD’s for diabetes and other conditions. /lh

    • @H0PL3$$ You know how i was thinking when i was your comments?I was thinking:”They know how it is,we should be friends!”

    • Hey, Illy! I’m autistic, too! I relate on such a high level.
