We will talk about the technology (or lack thereof) behind testosterone boosters, turkesterone, BCAAs, fat burners and beta-alanine.

About me: I’m a Canadian natural pro bodybuilder and internationally-qualified powerlifter with a BSc in biochemistry/chemistry and an enthusiasm for technology. I’ve been training for 12 years drug-free. I’m 5’5 and fluctuate between 160 lbs (thin) and 180 lbs (bulked).

Disclaimers: Jeff Nippard is not a physician or a medical professional. Always consult a doctor before starting any exercise program. Use of this info is sternly at your own risk.

  1. Jeff, your ability to read hundreds upon hundreds of papers and properly digest all of the information, then simplify it in to something everyone can understand is absolutely astounding. I genuinely feel you could give a lecture on some of the most complex stuff in the universe and people would actually get exactly what you are talking about.

  2. Took Turkesterone for nearly two months, fairly ‘high dose’ too. Did absolutely nothing. Any strength and muscle gains I saw have been maintained without it, don’t waste your money.

  3. You forgot pre work out

  4. I’ve been interested in supplementing with ashwagandha; Jeff, do you have a brand recommendation?

  5. All supplements are trash because you never know how much they put in them so I just avoid all them. The bs is not regulated so they are all cash grabs.

  6. I bet Donkey Boy Doucette is gonna blow a gasket on the Turk part of this video. that said, I completely agree with you — zero human evidence.

  7. Please make a video(series if possible lol) about the science behind staying healthy while being ovolacto vegetarian/vegan
Apart from the annoying isoflavone discussion i heard people giving soy a lot of slack oxalates e.g
For my part I can’t really fit meat consumption in my diet because of gut stuff/eating disorder/worldview but i wanna get the most out of lifting and also stay as healthy as possible
Love ur vids jeff, thanks for all the time you take to source and package tons of quality information

  8. Isaac Guastaferro

I take beta alanine just to feel something 😥

  9. Great stuff
