Hi, I’m Yolanda! Some folks call me the Beyoncé of cakes. I post my drool-worthy, eye-popping caking creations every Tuesday at 11am EST! My novelty cakes come in all shapes and sizes – huge versions of foods, gross things like brains, motion picture characters and some of my favorite things! Basically, I love to construct things out of cake, buttercream, fondant, candy, cookies and anything sweet!
This “cake” began off as 8 batches of the original Rice Krispies® treat recipe, packed into pans to hold their shape. I stacked them up with royal icing, and lined them with strips of fondant for ornament. I then molded some towers out of more Rice Krispies® treats, and added fondant windows and doors. To complete it off, I laid out a gorgeous sprinkle rooftop terrace and made a lovely sprinkle grove around it! Voila, this toy castle is complete! I wish I could move in…
