  9. I absolutely think you did marvelous on paws for thought!!!!! The underlying message is one I wished would get acknowledged more often. There’s too many that have to go without. I used to be one of them. It’s tough!

Help a person in need this Thanksgiving. Give them something to BE thankful for! It could make all the difference in their life–that one kind act!

  10. Both of my cats are rescues. I already had a cat, a rescue my cousin couldn’t keep. Then just a couple of days after adopting Harley, I noticed him playing through the glass of the back sliding door with a tiny charcoal kitten. It was during a freezing rain and snow storm. I tried to catch him all day long. I gave up, but the next day he was back. I put out a special gravy packet of cat food..opened up the sliding glass door about 4″ and waited for him to come in. I ran around the house and slammed the glass door shut. Yes. I purposefully trapped a small feral kitten in my home. Took about 3-4 months before he would let me come anywhere near him. I named him Smudge..he is a solid dark charcoal grey cat with long hair. He adores me, but has never let anyone else ever touch him..cept for the Vet..who had to put on gloves…after scoffing that a cute little kitten wasn’t dangerous. 😁
