New intensity 6.4 earthquake rocks southern Turkey

A shallow intensity 6.4 earthquake struck the Turkey-Syria boundary region after it was desolated earlier in the month by temblors that killed tens of thousands of folks.
Monday’s aftershock in Turkey’s Hatay province was at a depth of 2km (1.2 miles), the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre stated.
The quake hit the town of Defne at 8:04pm (17:04 GMT) and was powerfully felt in the towns of Antakya and Adana, 200km (300 miles) to the north.
A second intensity 5.8 centered in Samandag district of Hatay shook the region a few minutes later, Turkey’s crisis administration agency stated.

Al Jazeera’s Assed Baig, reporting from Gaziantep, stated there were reports of more structures being demolished in the region.

  9. Natural disaster events are always horrible and horrific and sad, but no one can control nature and reporting in a way like someone is deliberately making these earthquakes, focus on helping and saving and rescuing as many people as y’all can and stop reporting like someone is attacking these countries, prayers for the people in Turkey 🇹🇷

  10. Until Turkey hmgets out of NATO they will keep having these disaster. The most high is going to punish NATO countries for what they have done in the past. Why did Turkey even join the original enslavers & colonizers?
