  1. Oculus Rift S, anyone? Linus forgot to mention it entirely!!!!!!! No need for extra cameras at all, for $ 400, it’s a good VR headset…

    • @homegrowntwinkie looking wonky and being the current best means of interacting in VR is another.

    • i returned mine because i really wasn’t impressed with it. it seemed like a step back just to save on cost.

    • Isn’t the Rift Quest technically better? Albeit more expensive.

    • @venomman wtf are you talking about? the index’s lens are a MAJOR improvement over the rift’s and vive’s and the increase FOV and refresh rate is unbeatable. sure it isn’t OLED but at least you’re not capped at 80HZ

    • @IsaacThePooper no man, the lenses are way worse than Oculus . The god rays are a big deal with the index where they hardly exist with the rift.

I’m talking about the Rift S lenses. The OG rifts are god awful in comparison

  2. The link cable is removed becuase they did it with in pc software in steam vr base station 2.0 settings it sucks but its not completely removed

  3. im learning so much about linus

  4. Wtf linus got all that cool shit in his office but his house is full of dusty bullshit 😂😂😂

  5. Gerrit Großkopf

oh wow, seeing stories about all this animal abuse lately, and seeing linus showing affection to the cat despite it doing something he didn’t want, was wonderfull

  6. I think vr still has a few years to go yet before it’s worth getting

  7. Thumbs up for the kitten appearances

  8. imo the controllers (“knuckles”) are way more exciting than the headaset
There are ALOT of possibilities with them. *NODE* have some cool videos showing their potential.
Since i damaged one controller by playing Gorn, i’m pretty sure i will upgrade my Vive with the knuckles sooner or later.
(no need for new tracking stations or something like that)

  9. ‘EY freshbooks is just what my small business needs, will check them out!

  10. Just started watching, and want to point out that there is people out there who’d buy a Lump of Aluminum for 1000$.
So on that Metric, I’d say yeah it is already worth it! LOL
