Buckingham Palace proclaimed on Thursday night that Queen Elizabeth II had passed away peacefully at Balmoral in Scotland.

The world’s media disrupted their normal broadcasting to declare the news after issues grew throughout the day world-wide. Footage shows broadcasts from Italy, the US, France and Germany. After the declaration, the flag at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle flew at half-mast to signal the Queen’s death

  5. How typical Fox News fumbles it while everyone else gets it right in their own way. Should have used CNN coverage or better yet one of the big three U.S. networks that broke onto programing, that would have been a better comparison. But I suspect The Guardian doesn’t have access to those networks feeds easily because they only look at Fox News for American coverage even though CNN is available worldwide..
