It’s nearly time to start the interior manufacturing! In preparation for this next step of the cabin build, I commence work on the main flooring. I used a router to shiplap pine boards to make the floorboards, and I inlayed the screwheads with pennies! I in addition reflect a little bit, on the tremendous time I’ve spent with my dad on this build.

  1. Are you going to stain the flooring. I can’t wait to see what you do with the entry stairs. Cabin looks awesome.

Sharing these videos with you is a real blessing. I feel your fathers spirit and presence with you, in every video. You are your fathers son, his greatest legacy of all time and the cabin is a memorial to the legacy to that which you and your father shared and built together. What an incredible and amazing gift. Maybe you could build a framed rustic plaque with a shilacked photo of you and your father together – and put it on a wall, when you have some free time. Thank you for sharing your legacy. It means so much to us.

  3. The floors look spectacular. Your father is watching you from heaven with pride and love… Don’t ever forget that

  4. Thanks incredible video my friend Can’t wait to see the next one😀 NC

  5. Hello Outsider you have done an amazing job on your cabin and I sure am happy to have watched you build it from the beginning. You and your family have come a long way on that cabin, especially you. You have put your heart and soul into that cabin and I can’t wait for the finished product. May God keep blessing you Outsider.

  6. I would be concerned about having a bunch of flammable lithium batteries stored under a flammable wood cabin. I would think it would be better to have the batteries away from the house in a weather proof shed.

I would also hope that you are planning to bury your solar cable conduit later to a proper depth, at least 18″ if not deeper with caution tape above the conduit.

  7. Wondered about u earlier in week and their u r….soon the snow will fly..

  8. Onedisaster Attatime
