Thank you all for tuning in to this two part series! I know that cliff hanger in part 1 got some of y’all ready to square up but I hope the end result was worth the wait.

Also I just have to say, throughout the process of making this video I spent hours and hours watching old film, looking up obscure stats and facts that only us basketball fans would appreciate, and watched clips of legendary moments and after awhile I caught myself getting lost in these old videos, in amazement at how incredible these players are and how awesome this sport is. Because of y’all I get to watch, dissect and analyze basketball for a living and I CANNOT thank y’all enough. This is truly the best job in the world and I’m going to continue to create this stories and videos for us to watch, share and enjoy. I Appreciate all of you ?

    • Thanks for not including any Sixers highlights when talking about Julius Erving and Wilt Chamberlain. I guess they didn’t have great moments with the Sixers.

    • +Go Getter He is. He’s not averaging 10 APG for career because he’s not ball dominant but he’s still averaging 7 APG as an “combo guard” which means that, Steph can play on the ball, and facilitate like your traditional PG or he can play off the ball like your average SG and still facilitate. The game has changed so your “prototypical traditional” PG like Magic, Stockton, CP3, Wall, Russ aren’t relevant all because, they lack Curry’s versatility or ability to move off the ball, and still dominate. As I just said before, Steph’s dominance isn’t just on the ball bro lmao it’s also off the ball. He could average 10 apg while being on the ball and ball dominant but that’s going agianst GS system. Stocktons impact doesn’t come close to Steph’s. Steph dominance and impact gets compared to MJs, while Stockton isn’t even in the same breathe. I’m not even mentioning accolades/ individual accomplishments or rings. You can’t build around Stockton but you could build a team around Steph and they’ll be a championship team. Just look at the 2014-2015 Warriors!! Steph can adapt, and play in any system and he’ll become the system. Steph can play on the ball, and average 25 and 10, or he can play off the ball, and average 30 and 7. Either way, he will still be efficient. And he’s already put up these stats before. In the 2013-14 season under Mark Jackson iso system where Steph was on the ball and ball dominant Steph averaged 24 and 9, on 47/42/89 shooting. Then during his 2nd MVP season under Kerr’s system Steph averaged 30 and 7 off the ball on 50/45/90 shooting! Neither of the traditional PGs before Steph are able to do what he can do. 2x MVP, 3x Champion working on his 4th. He should have 2 FMVPs but Adam Silver hate him. No disrespect to Stocktons overrated career but nah, he’s not in the same stratosphere as Steph, who’s still in his prime!! Steph has more records rt but that is not needed to show why Steph’s #2 on the All-Time PG list and Stocktons #5 IMO.

Hey jxmy, what has Kobe done more than Shaq, Hakeem and Larry? What’s the league missing, an inefficent and selfish player who didn’t want to play with the guy that won him 3 rings? Kobe fooled you all with the “mAmBa MeNtAlItY” thing, be a coach and then you will see that shooting a heavily contested shot instead of having a drawn play and a 40% bigger chance of scoring on that play is a stupid thing.

    • +Savon Sanders Whoa my friend. They’re called paragraphs. Clean that up and I’ll read all of it. Not trying to be a dick….but your comment is one big blob.

I’ll just say this because it’s obvious you’re a Curry FANATIC.

First off….claiming that Curry is the greatest PG ever in the middle of his career is COMPLETELY ASININE.

Do you have ANY idea just how many HOF PG’s that you’re disrespecting? Players that you obviously haven’t watched play NEARLY enough or maybe not at all!

Stats are great man…and they are certainly one of many viable facts one can use when arguing and debating about how fantastic a player is.

I’m just going to state one thing that you’re obviously not taking into consideration when you say ignorant things like Curry is the best PG ever.

Curry’s defense is terrible. It’s awful. He’s a downright hindrance to his team defensively. GS lost multiple games this season because their opponents took advantage of Curry’s lack of defensive skill.

The best players of all time should have NO glaring weaknesses in their game. Stockon, Isiah, Magic, Kidd? All MUCH better defensive players than Curry is.

      Defense is HALF the game.

I would say hat Bird had one of the best peaks in NBA history (with 3 MVPs IN A ROW!), and therefore, according to criteria here, Bird should be in the same tier as Lebron James. Bird deserves o be in 2nd Tier. Magic is the legend, same as Kobe and LeBron, but Bird is also there; Bird’s peak was incredible. And he was THE Winner, and THE Leader of his team.

I would put Kareem in the 1st Tier. Kareem “wasn’t dominant”?? He was. They changed the rules for dunking in college because of him, and he translated this domination into NBA, he got his MVPs in his early years in the league, when he was one of the best and most dominant scorers in the league…

Kobe should be 3rd Tier (to change places with Bird). Why? Because he has only 1 MVP, and his first 3 championships he was (very good) 2nd option to Shaq. So, he is in the same Tier as Shaq.

Otherwise I would say the list is very good.

  2. So ray Allen not in tier 5 at least

  3. Dirk was was really the only elite player on a team that beat the Big 3. KG was maybe the third best player on his championship team.

  4. - LobCityE23 -

    Perfect list good sir???

  5. Imagine thinking Jordan was better than Bron???

  6. The boy made trending?

  7. Raptors clutch Hoops

Seems pretty accurate and the tier 1 2 and 3 tier is exactly like mine

  8. Curry tier 2 at least. He changed the game
