Andy Reid on Drafting the Kelce Brothers, Coaching Mahomes, Super Bowl Memories & More | EP 38

92%ers we are back with another episode of New Heights presented by our friends at Fireball.

In this episode, we are joined by maybe our most requested guest. It’s the two-time Super Bowl Champion head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs Andy Reid!

Coach Reid talks with the guys about his real first impression of Travis, what advice led him to become an NFL head coach, the biggest takeaway from his time in Philly, and if Travis will ever get another shot at QB.

We also dive into how he coaches Patrick Mahomes, how he felt coaching against his former team in the Super Bowl, how NFL offenses have changed since he started coaching, and most importantly, his go-to fast food burger.

As always, watch and listen to new episodes of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce every Wednesday & check us out on Instagram, Twitter, and Tik Tok for all the best moments from the show.

  1. Jason, come on over to KC and join Chiefs Kingdom. We would love to have the K brothers together, and it would save your momma lots of miles if she could watch you both in one place. Just sayin’!

  2. Used to work with a non verbal autistic guy after college for a little bit. His father donated ALOT of money to Eagles organization so every season they invite him out to a practice in the bubble. Each and every year Andy would walk over to us and chat for about 5 minutes before being dragged off by that big guy thats always near him. He is such a genuine and kind man.

  3. Why can I only like this once?!?!

  4. Big Red is the best! I worked at a Chiefs game once and Andy stopped after the game walking to the locker room to talk to a stadium employee who was collecting trash. Andy knew this guy by name, asked how his wife was doing(apparently she had been sick) and said if he needed anything to let him know. I was stunned by this whole interaction, that’s the stuff you don’t hear about. Such a stand up guy and amazing person!

  5. David III Ferber

This has to be ranked as one of the best sports interviews of all time no doubt.

  6. I’m a Raiders fan, but also just an overall football fan, and fan of the show. This is the collab we have needed for far too long!!!!

  7. He may have beat my eagles but I’ll love him forever. He made the greatest eagles offense of all time.
