NASCAR continued its west coast travels with the Pala Casino 400 as Ross Chastain and Kyle Busch began stage one with an anger! Busch was a powerful contestant to win the very first stage until he suffered a pit-stop punishment which played a role into Busch ending 12th. Chastain cruised to a snug first-place finish. Chastain continued this theme in the second stage where he again ended in first place, followed by Kyle Busch and Joey Logano. Nonetheless, in the final stage, Busch took it to another level and was able to win the Pala Casino 400. With the victory, Busch holds the record record for successive cup seasons with a triumph at 19 and is currently 9th in the record victories list.
