2019 U.S. Open: Tiger Woods Finishes With a Flourish

After bogeying four of his first six holes, three-time U.S. Open champ Tiger Woods caught fire and ended with six birdies, which includes four over his final six holes, to shoot 2-under-par 69 in the final round of the 2019 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach (Calif.) Golf Links. It was his best U.S. Open spherical in a decade, putting him at 2 under par for the championship.

  2. He needs to play more golf. It’s that simple. He’ll win another one during the playoffs, where he’ll be forced to keep up a consistent play schedule. He’ll get into a better rhythm then. I can see a Tour Championship repeat. I don’t see an Open Championship win because he won’t be playing before then. He’ll be too rusty to contend.
